Foundation Skills for New HR Officers

It is an indisputable fact that people are the most valuable asset in any organization. This course has been designed to prepare those that are new to Human Resources Management to make a smooth transition into their roles. Participants will be grounded in the basic HR activities of attracting; engaging, developing and managing employee expectations. Participants will also learn the administrative support functions in an HR setting.

The effective management of the HR functions in an organization requires the use of many skills, including the ability to manage yourself, manage others, and the ability to make informed decisions and solve problems effectively. This training will enable new HR officers to understand how to get the best out of every individual and impact positively on the bottom line of the business.

Participants will:

  • Learn the skills involved in managing people effectively, specifically the skills of planning and organizing, communication, assertiveness, and motivation
